Meridian Capital Partners is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We operate in alignment with UK investment rules and FCA regulatory expectations, including the conduct rules that require us to act with integrity, due skill and care, and to treat customers fairly.
You can check our regulatory status on the FCA's Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk.
Eligible deposits held with Meridian Capital Partners are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 per eligible depositor, per firm. FSCS protection applies automatically and is free. Investments are not covered by the FSCS in the same way as deposits, although certain claims may be eligible.
Client money is held in segregated accounts with tier-1 UK banks, separate from Meridian Capital's own operating funds, in line with the FCA's client money rules. This helps protect your funds if the firm were to fail.
If you have a complaint you cannot resolve with us, you may refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), an independent body that resolves disputes between consumers and financial firms, free of charge. See our Complaints Procedure for details.
We comply with the UK Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and report suspicious activity to the National Crime Agency (NCA). We screen clients and transactions against applicable sanctions lists.
Cryptoasset activities are largely unregulated in the UK. Cryptoassets are not covered by the FSCS and you will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service for cryptoasset-related complaints. You should be prepared to lose all the money you invest.
We publish our key facts, terms, fees and risk disclosures so you can make informed decisions. If you need any document in an alternative format, please contact us.
